Provide feedback on your classmates' WebQuest presentations. Blog to at least 3 presentations.
The first webquest was story2tell
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-HRzKBi_6UA
I like that she paired students, and accommodation for non verbal students. I like the consent of everyone has a story to tell. They click on "I remember when" all the directions are on post its which i like. It also is great that students can vote for the best and get to be posted as winners. That will make them want to achieve more. The peer conference form was great to keep students on task. I like that there will be a live performance which all students can access and its easy to use. Great webquest!
Next is Ms. M and M's Periodic Table Webquest
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0LjEiEb7gU
I like that it is light hearted and using comedy. It draws the students in. Its going to be integrated with help from the teacher. She plays the element song which is a great way for students who have learning needs. I like the bingo and the team worksheets. I like the adobt an element which is great. And listening to the element song. It seems like it will be a very well accepted class, fun to participate in, and help with class integration with all students with all abilities. Great webquest!
Landscaping using Geometry http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUG7wmdjktY
It engages students by using a real world question to help involve students. Landscaping and geometry are used. They develop their own landscape. They will need to be able to use programs at school, using a 3-d program. I like how each shape will make a different portion of their work. and then they have to make a cost of work page. I believe it will be very beneficial in use for the grades listed.

Apply and Discover 9.1
Based on your readings and understanding of the laws of special education and promoting learning for all students, write a post in your Blogger blog responding to the question: What does it mean to "provide equal access to the digital world"?
You need to be able to allow the most beneficial learning experience for every child. There should be no limitations on what is offered for students with all needs. The more you offer the more chances you will be able to provide a system that works for a student and allows them to learn everything they need to. With the most efficient and easy way. That's why I like the concept and implementation of universal design. I actually wrote in the discussion board the following;
By using all the different types of universal designs, such as etest, livescribe pen, and more they have found that it has increased progress and learning in all courses that students are taking, with all types of disabilities. Its important that there is ongoing communication with the student to make sure its meeting their needs because the student can have what ever may not be working edited to create the best learning environment.
Not only with the students feedback but its is also important to have coordination with all teachers, admins, etc.. In the school, to have drawn out plans and firm commitments made so that everyone stays on the same page and there is not room made for anyone to fall through the cracks. With all of this kept and mind I think that it is very useful.
It needs to be equal for everyone, everyone in the school system needs to be on the same page with providing every student the best education possible. Communication is the key as well as up to date information and software.
